Fes to Marrakech (option 1)

The second day will be devoted to exploring life in the Erg Chebbi desert.

After a tasty breakfast, we will have the opportunity to visit the picturesque villages and charming oases of the Merzouga region. We will be able to meet local nomads living in traditional Berber tents and discover the secrets of the Mifis mines and the Sudanese village of Gnawa.

In addition, we will be able to follow the tracks of the famous Paris-Dakar on various desert plateaus, such as the striking Black Desert.
Along the way, we will have a chance to see deserts, salt lakes and enchanting wadis. After a delicious lunch, we will return to our hotel to enjoy an unforgettable camelback adventure, admiring the magnificent sunsets and breathtaking sunrises.

The night will be magical, accompanied by traditional songs, in the luxurious atmosphere of a Berber tent.

After returning to camp on camelback, we will enjoy a refreshing breakfast and a leisurely shower to start our day.
We will take the road from Tinghir to Boumalen Dades, making stops at the picturesque villages and striking oases of Jorf, where we can admire the old irrigation system, and Touroug Tinejdad.

We will arrive in Todra, where we will have a pleasant walk after lunch.

We will then continue our journey to the valley and the spectacular Dades Gorge, where we will spend the evening and night in a cozy hotel.

After a tasty breakfast at the hotel, we will begin the drive to Marrakech along the famous Route des Mille Kasbahs, passing through the picturesque Valley of Roses to Kalaat Mgouna, known as the “City of Roses.”
En route, we will visit the magnificent Kasbah Taourirt, Ouarzazate’s former home, famous for its film center and fascinating Kasbahs.

The highlight will be a visit to Ait Benhaddou, an ancient fortified village located in the Onila Valley, which has served as the backdrop for numerous films, including Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Jesus of Nazareth. This architectural marvel has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After a tasty lunch, we will pass through picturesque Berber villages surrounded by the imposing mountains, heading toward the vibrant city of Marrakech, crossing the Tichka Pass, which rises 2260 meters above sea level.

Here will come the end of our adventure, but the wonderful experiences and indelible memories you will have created will stay with you forever.
