From Marrakech to southern Morocco

After a tasty breakfast, we will set out for Ouarzazate, crossing green valleys and reaching the impressive Tizi’n Tichka pass, at 2260 meters above sea level. From here you can enjoy spectacular views of the High Atlas Mountains.

We will continue our adventure by visiting the beautiful kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, an enchanting sand castle that seems to rise as if by magic in a field of almond trees. It is so fascinating with its play of light that it has been chosen as a location for famous movies such as “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Tea in the Desert.”
This kasbah is so proud of its charm that it has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We will then continue our journey to reach Ouarzazate, a city located at the junction of the Draa, Dades and Ziz valleys. In the afternoon we will visit the quiet city center, characterized by the earthen buildings typical of this region of Morocco.

We will not fail to explore the Taourirt kasbah, once the residence of the Glaoui, with its towers rising into the blue sky.

For dinner, a delicious dining experience awaits you.
You will stay in a typical and romantic riad, which also has a swimming pool for relaxing moments.

The day starts early, at 8:00 am, for our departure from Ouarzazate.
The first sight we will visit is the kasbah of the Cigogna, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the lake.

Continuing on to Zagora, we will make a brief stop in Agdz.
We will cross the majestic mountain of Tizi-n-Tinififft, at an altitude of 1660 meters, and take the road to the kasbah of Alkaid Ali in Tamnougale.

We will have lunch at a local restaurant and then continue our route through the picturesque Draa valley.
Here we will take a leisurely walk, crossing the palmeraia and admiring the ksour, until we arrive in Zagora at the end of the day.

For dinner, an authentic dining experience awaits you and you will stay in a romantic typical riad with a swimming pool.

After breakfast, we leave Zagora and cross the Draa Valley to a track that will take us to the villages of Taftechna and Ait Ouaazique, famous for their rock caves.
Along the way, we will meet Tazarine Et Alnif, where we will have a lunch break. We will then continue to the incredible dunes of Merzouga, known as Erg Chebbi, via Rissani.
Here, you will have a unique experience: we will leave our 4×4 and ride on a dromedary to admire the beautiful colors of the sunset over the dunes.

We will spend the night in the heart of the dunes, in a bivouac under a picturesque Berber tent.
Dinner and overnight stay in an authentic and enchanting atmosphere.

After a tasty breakfast and a refreshing dip in the pool, we will board our 4×4 for a tour of the caves where natural desert fossils are found.

We will pass through the picturesque village of Tissrdmin, famous for having been the set of numerous films, and travel the same road as the Paris-Dakar rally.
We will cross the black desert, with its volcanic stones, and have the opportunity to share tea with a Tuareg family. Next, we will reach the village of Kamlia, renowned for its vibrant African culture and engaging music.
This village is also famous for its music and dance festival held annually in the first week of August.

From here, we will visit Dayet Srji Lake, a fascinating oasis inhabited by pink flamingos.
We will then return to Rissani, where we will share a special dinner with a Tuareg family and enjoy the famous Berber pizza, enriched with the 44 local spices.

During dinner, we will have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in local traditions and customs, as well as discover the items that arrive here by caravan.

Rissani, once the economic capital of Morocco and the center of caravans heading to the desert, will welcome us with its unique history.
We will visit the kasbahs of this city and stay in a romantic typical riad with a swimming pool.

We start the day early to enjoy the sunrise and the beautiful colors of the dunes at sunrise.

We will return to the hotel on camelback, where, after a refreshing shower and a hearty breakfast, we will resume our tour south. We will take the road, considered among the most beautiful in southern Morocco, in the direction of the Todra Gorges, famous because they were the set of the movie “Lawrence of Arabia.”

We’ll also stop for lunch along the way and continue on to Boumalne Dadès, the starting point of the valley of the same name, an extraordinary 25-kilometer-long expanse of green that stretches to the gorges.
Here we will take a leisurely walk amidst lush green vegetation that creates a fascinating contrast with the surrounding red rocks and traditional pisé buildings that blend in with the same color as the rocks.

Along the way, we will encounter ksour, authentic villages surrounded by cultivated fields and orchards.

We will continue to the Dadès Gorges, where a delicious dinner awaits us and we will spend the night in a typical hotel, enveloped in a romantic atmosphere.

After a delicious breakfast and a relaxing walk in the picturesque palmeraia of Boumalne, we will head to the Dadès Gorges.
We will have the opportunity to visit these gorges and have lunch there. After lunch, we will return through the Dadès valley, passing the Kasbah d’Ait Youl and taking a road through the valley of roses, until we reach the capital of roses, Kalaa M’gouna.

Next, we will head to Skoura, where we will visit the magnificent Kasbah of Amredhyle.

After admiring this beautiful kasbah, we will continue our journey to Ouarzazate.
You will have the opportunity to visit the town, including the Kasbah of Taourirt, the film studios, and the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
En route, we will pass through the charming villages of Merzgane and Ighrem, stopping for a special lunch.

Finally, we will head toward Marrakech along a paved road.

For dinner, you will enjoy an unforgettable dining experience and stay in a romantic typical riad with a swimming pool.

After a tasty breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport according to your flight schedule.
