We will meet you directly at your lodging in Marrakech at 8:00 am to begin an approximately 3-hour journey to this fascinating coastal city. Along the way, you will be captivated by the changing beauty of the landscape, crossing the broad plains that tell stories of the lives and hard work of local farmers.

En route to Essaouira, we will have the opportunity to visit a women’s cooperative specializing in argan oil production. Here, you can discover a handmade world entirely dedicated to this prized product, which is one of the main excellences exported from Morocco. In addition to being known for its cosmetic uses, argan oil is also widely used in cooking. Don’t miss the chance to taste a delicious argan paste, to be enjoyed in the morning along with a traditional bread called Amlou.

Arriving in Essaouira around noon, we will begin the exploration of this fascinating coastal city. We will visit the picturesque harbor, with its traditional fishing boats painted a vibrant blue color, and stop by the bustling fish market, where you can choose fresh fish directly from local fishermen. You will have the opportunity to watch it being cooked and enjoy it in a delicious lunch prepared especially for you.

In the afternoon, accompanied by an experienced local guide, we will explore the old medina of Essaouira, an enchanted place where time seems to flow more slowly. We will admire the ancient ramparts, the small stores embedded in the fortress walls, and the narrow streets that tell stories of a fascinating past. Before resuming your journey to Marrakech, you will also have the opportunity to take a relaxing walk along the beach, admiring the talented windsurfers riding the waves. On the way back, upon request, your guide will make a brief stop at Diabet, the site that was home to the famous hippie colony also frequented by Jimi Hendrix.
