Start your adventure in the Agafay Desert with an unforgettable day trip. Located a short distance from Marrakech, the Agafay Desert offers wild, hilly landscapes at the foot of the Atlas Mountains. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to experience an exciting adventure on an ATV or buggy, exploring the vast open spaces and admiring the natural beauty of the region.
You will be accompanied by professional guides who will provide you with the necessary equipment and ensure your safety during the experience. You can enjoy Moroccan pancakes and mint tea offered during the tour, and if you wish, you can opt for a dinner show to complete your day in the desert.

We leave your hotel/Riad at 8:30 a.m. to begin a day of adventure away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Our destination? The striking desert of Agafay and the Kik Plateau. As we pass through the Kasbah Agafay, we leave behind urban landscapes and immerse ourselves in a panorama of incredible beauty. Crossing Oued N’fis, we admire villages whose traditional earthen houses blend harmoniously with the color of the surrounding rocks.

The road then leads us into a vast desert of hills and gorges, dotted with ancient abandoned villages, stretching to the horizon to the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains. Our next stop is the Takerkoust Dam, where we stop to admire the wonderful view of the reservoir, the surrounding landscape, and the lake. We continue along a hilly road through charming villages until we reach the Kik Plateau.

Here, we immerse ourselves in the beauty of Toubkal National Park, enjoying unique views of the high peaks of North Africa. Passing Asni, the road guides us into the majestic Imlil valley. During a lunch break, you can delight your palate with local delicacies. Afterwards, we will embark on a one- to two-hour guided hike through the valley to Ait Mizan, at the foot of Morocco’s highest mountain, Jbel Toubkal, which rises majestically to a height of 4165 meters (4,765 feet). Along the way, you will be captivated by the authentic beauty of the surrounding nature.

In the late afternoon, we will return to Marrakech, passing through the magnificent Moulay Brahim Gorges. On the return journey, you will be able to reflect on the unique experiences you had during the day, appreciating once again the variety and majesty of the landscapes we passed through together.
