Our adventure into the heart of the Moroccan desert continues with a day full of excitement and extraordinary discoveries! After a tasty breakfast, we will embark on our journey to Merzouga and the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi, fully immersing ourselves in the desert landscapes that surround us. Along the way, we will stop at Taouz, an enchanting place where we can admire prehistoric graffiti engraved on rocks, a fascinating testimony to the millennia-old history of this region.

But the day still holds unique surprises: we will indulge in the privilege of listening to the magical Gnawa music of Khamlia. In a small restaurant run by a local Gnawi resident, we will have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the engaging rhythm and enchanting melodies of this traditional music genre. Enjoying a delicious lunch prepared with care, we will have an authentic experience that will make us feel part of the local culture.

After lunch, we will head back to the hotel for a moment of coolness and relaxation. Here you will have the opportunity to recharge your energy before the most anticipated moment of the day: an adventurous camel ride through the desert. All bulky luggage will be safe in the hotel’s secure rooms, leaving you free to fully enjoy this unique experience.

You will board camels, wonderful creatures of the desert, and embark on an enchanting walk of about 90 minutes, venturing into the towering sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, the highest in North Africa. Be captivated by the majesty of the landscape around you and have an authentic and unforgettable experience.

We will finally arrive at our cozy Berber camp, nestled in the sand dunes. The comfortable Berber tents, furnished with mattresses and sheets, will provide you with a cozy shelter for the night. The camp is equipped with a restaurant that will delight you with traditional dishes, a kitchen and a bathroom in perfect “natural” style.

Before sunrise, you will be gently awakened to admire the dunes of Merzouga illuminated by the first light of day, a true spectacle of nature. After enjoying this natural spectacle, you will head back to your hotel on camelback. There, you will have the opportunity to relax and rejuvenate with a refreshing shower and a tasty breakfast. This quiet time will allow you to start your day with energy and vitality.

Afterwards, we will set out for Fez, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. On the way, we will pass through fascinating places that tell of the country’s rich history and natural beauty. We will pass through Erfoud, a bustling town located just 15 km from Rissani, famous for its traditional markets and fascinating culture.

We will continue our route through Er-rachidia, a town with military charm, the striking Ziz gorges, Medelt, famous for its cedar forests populated by monkeys, and Azrou, where you will have the opportunity to admire the natural beauty of this region and make surprising encounters with local wildlife.

Finally, we will arrive in Fez, a city that enchants visitors with its authenticity and thousand-year history. You will immerse yourself in a unique atmosphere, among ancient neighborhoods, majestic medinas and fascinating monuments that testify to Morocco’s cultural heritage.
