Agadir to the southeast

We will leave early in the morning from the Atlantic coast, heading for Taroudant, a fascinating town located at the foot of Guelmim, known as the “Gateway to the Desert.”
Here, you can admire the spectacular Saharan mountains surrounding the small oases and Berber villages.

We will make a stop in Tafraoute to take photos in front of the striking pink and white granite boulders surrounded by breathtaking scenery.

We will then continue to Taroudant, crossing a vast landscape of mountains and argan trees. We will have the pleasure of staying overnight in a comfortable hotel or Riad.

After a delicious breakfast, we will begin the day with a short tour of Taroudant’s medina, its lively souks and fascinating historic walls.

Afterwards, we will head to Taliouine, the saffron capital, where we will have the opportunity to admire the majestic Kasbah el Glaoui and enjoy a typical lunch.

In the afternoon, we will continue to the impressive old fort of Agdez, an ancient resting place for caravans. Then, we will immerse ourselves in the wonders of the Draa Valley, admiring the longest river in the kingdom and the largest palm grove in the world.

We will arrive in Zagora late in the evening, where we will spend the night in a cozy Riad facility.

At dawn, we will leave Zagora and head into the majestic Erg Chebbi desert.

We will begin the day with a visit to the sub-Saharan, fortified oasis of Kusur, and then head to the picturesque villages of Nkoub, Tazarine and Alnif, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch.

Next, we will reach Rissani, cradle of the Alaouite dynasty, where we will visit the mausoleum of the founder of Rissani, the former Ksar Abdel Halim. Finally, we will arrive at the fascinating golden dunes of Merzouga, where we will spend the night in a traditional Kasbah hotel in the desert, with an exclusive private luxury bivouac.

In the morning, before leaving the enchantment of the desert, we will have a unique experience.
We will begin the day with an exciting hike through the desert plains and picturesque oasis villages to Merzouga.
We will have the opportunity to visit the Gnawa tribes and the local nomadic village of Khamlia, where we can taste a Berber culinary delicacy, Medfouna, a kind of typical pizza.

Next, we will follow the impressive Ziz Valley, once an ancient caravan route that connected Fez to the south, until we reach Erfoud and Errachidia, where we will have overnight accommodations.

After a tasty breakfast, we will drive through the enchanting oasis of Goulmima and the spectacular Todra Gorge until we reach the Dades Gorge.

If you are fond of climbing, we will organize a tour for you in the most popular areas for this activity. After a leisurely lunch break, we will head to the town of Boumalne, where we will follow the fascinating gorge to the bottom of the canyon.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at a cozy local hotel with half board.

In the morning, we will head to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa. We will drive the famous road of a thousand Kasbahs, crossing the picturesque Valley of Roses to Kalaat Mgouna, the capital of roses, and then admire the magnificent Kasbah Taourirt, a witness to Ouarzazate’s past.
We will also have the opportunity to visit a beautiful oasis hidden in the Anti-Atlas Mountains called Fint.

We will continue to the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient route of the gold and salt caravans, located in the Draa Valley.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at a cozy Kasbah hotel facility.

After a night spent in the famous film city, we will set out again for Marrakech. We will pass through beautiful valleys characterized by red, white and pink soils of various breathtaking colors.

We will take the trail through the Tichka Pass, located at an altitude of 2260 meters, from which we will enjoy a splendid panoramic view of Berber villages surrounded by the majestic High Atlas Mountains.

We will arrive in Marrakech at noon, where a delicious lunch awaits us. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to tour the city with its fascinating medina, explore the colorful souks and soak in the unique atmosphere of the famous Jemaa el Fna Square.

We will spend the night in a comfortable hotel or Riad.

After a tasty breakfast, you will have a free morning to explore Marrakech and complete your visit.
You can visit the magnificent Bahia Palace, admire the imposing Koutoubia, and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Majorelle Garden.

At noon, you will depart along the scenic Atlantic coast to Essaouira, also known as the former Mogador.
Along the way, we will enjoy a delicious lunch and you will have the opportunity to take photos with the famous tree-climbing goats in the argan forest.

After admiring the endless Atlantic Ocean and enjoying the magnificent panoramic views of the city, we will arrive in Essaouira in time to watch the spectacular sunset on the beach or from the top of the Scala, an ancient Portuguese fortress.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at a cozy Riad facility.

During the last leg of our trip, you will have the morning free to discover and conclude your visit to Essaouira.
You can visit the charming old fishing port with its characteristic stairways, streets and ramparts, and enjoy lunch by the sea.

In the afternoon, we will return to Agadir, the starting point of our itinerary along the coastal road that passes through fascinating argan tree forests and picturesque Berber villages.

We will arrive in Agadir late in the evening, our hearts full of wonderful memories of our trip.
