Marrakech to Fes

Get ready for an unforgettable trip! From Boumalene Dades, we will set out for Merzouga, home of the famous Erg Chebbi dunes, the highest and most spectacular in Morocco. Our route will take us through the enchanting Berber village of Tinghir, and then into the Todra Gorge, with its towering rocky mountains touching 600 meters above sea level.

After our visit to Todra, we will continue our journey through a series of picturesque Berber villages, such as Tinjdad. Here we will have the opportunity to take a break for lunch, but if time permits, we may decide to continue on to Rissani. This is the home of Berber flatbread, a local delicacy filled with meat and vegetables, a real treat for the palate!

Upon arriving in Merzouga, we will leave our bulkier luggage in the hotel’s security rooms, preparing for the most exciting experience of all: the Sahara! We will board a dromedary for a 90-minute walk through the beautiful dunes of Erg Chebbi until we arrive at our Berber camp.

Here we will experience the essence of nomadism, sharing the spirit and lifestyle of the local people. We will have three Berber tents at our disposal, complete with restaurant and kitchen, offering all the basic services to ensure you have a comfortable stay. The tents are well equipped with mattresses, blankets and pillows.

After a delicious dinner, we will gather around the fire to immerse ourselves in the magic of the desert night, to the rhythm of traditional Berber drums and under a starry sky of incomparable beauty. Join us on this adventure, it will be an experience you will carry in your heart forever!

Get ready to greet the sunrise in the heart of the Sahara! We will wake up before dawn to admire the first rays of sunlight illuminating the dunes, giving us an unforgettable spectacle and an opportunity to take breathtaking photos. After this wonderful experience, we will venture back on the backs of our camels, heading to the hotel for an invigorating shower and a nutritious breakfast before resuming our journey to Fez.

As we leave Merzouga behind us, our route will take us through the charming villages of Arfoud and Errachidia, the picturesque Ziz valley, to the lush forests of Medelt, Azrou and Ifrane. If luck is with us, we might even cross paths with Atlas monkey families!

In the middle of our journey, we will stop for a restorative lunch at one of the many cozy restaurants along the way. After regaining our strength, we will resume our journey, finally arriving at our riad or hotel in Fez, where we will conclude our fascinating three-day tour.

• Cancellation: cancellation can be refunded only if made at least 48 hours before the date of the appointment. Please note that any cancellation requests received after this deadline may not be refunded
• Optional products and services: the reservation amount does not include optional products or services ordered locally. Any additional requests or extra services must be agreed upon and paid for separately
• Absence: in case of non-attendance at the agreed appointment, no refund will be made and 100% of the total booking amount will be retained
